Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I wear jeans?

Yes, you can! You can check out our What To Expect page under the About Us tab for more info on what people are usually wearing, but in short, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable.

Who do I talk to about baptism?

You can feel free to visit our Contact Us page to request more information. Just put “baptism” in the subject line. You can also feel free to pull aside any of one of our leadership if you plan on seeing us in church sometime soon. Check out our page titled Our Leadership Teams under the tab About Us if you need to remind yourself of who our leadership are.

Is there childcare available?

Our nursery is available to preschool aged children and under, and our Children’s Ministry is available for elementary aged children. Currently, we encourage our Middle School and High School aged students to join us in our regular service.

What kind of music do you play?

You can check out our What to Expect page for more on what worship as a whole looks like. As far as the music goes, we play music that is current, sometimes original, sometimes spontaneous, with an oldie but  a goodie thrown in from time to time. If you would like to hear some of the songs we sing for yourself, you can check out our Recommended Resources page under the Media tab to stream our “Songs for this Season” playlist.

How long does service usually last?

A typical service is made up of two main components. We have worship for about 45 minutes followed by a sermon that is usually another 45 minutes. That being said, we do like to remain sensitive to what God is doing in our services, so each of those two components is flexible, but generally service lasts around an hour and a half. We do want to respect the time of our church family.

What if I have a word of prophecy or wisdom for the church?

We love to catch ahold of what God is doing in the room or in this season through those we are in relationship with! If you call The Rock Church your home, feel free to let us know through our Contact Us page. Just put “corporate word” in the subject line. You can also talk to our pastors directly on a Sunday. If you are visiting or are new to us, our heart is to serve you during our ministry time. We want you to be able to focus on receiving what God is doing in you. We want to pray for you and with you so that you may be refreshed.

How do I make an appointment with church staff?

Our pastors would love to meet with you and get you connected. Both Kamron and Danielle have a passionate desire to live in daily relationship with those they serve, and serve alongside, outside the church walls. If you know you will be seeing us soon on a Sunday, feel free to pull either Kamron or Danielle aside and let them know you would like to schedule an appointment. You can also schedule an appointment via the Contact Us page. Just put “appointment” in the subject line. Check out our page titled Our Leadership Teams under the About Us tab if you need to remind yourself who Kamron and Danielle are or would like to learn more about their hearts for ministry.
